EJ Media Group is seeking a motivated, hardworking SAE to join its growing hospitality and lifestyle team. 

This is a mid-level position for those with a minimum of 4-6 years media relations experience, preferably at a PR agency. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years client facing/account leadership experience, strong editorial contacts in the lifestyle and hospitality space, communicate and prioritize effectively, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications: 

​

We are looking for a proactive, organized, detail oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills (oral and written) and strong leadership skills. Applicants must have a successful track record of placing stories on a national and regional level, meeting deadlines, working well under pressure, interacting with senior management, and handling confidential information.

​

Experience of 4 -6 years in media relations required. Social Media experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include:

​

• Serve as account lead for at least three accounts

• Assist co-Founders with managing larger accounts

• Draft press materials (pitch letters, media alerts and press releases)

• Draft media plans, strategies, proposals and client communications

• Pitch client stories to the media and participate in creative brainstorms

• Ensure client requests are fulfilled and delivered on time

• Keep up-to-date on industry news

• Review call agendas and monthly clients reports

• Supervise junior staff on client related activities

• Work clients related events as well as accompany clients to interviews, conferences and red carpet events.​​
